Trials make one grows

Dorothy Tse was diagnosed with bipolar disorder during secondary school. Later, she developed ataxia - a neurological disorder due to the adverse effects of medications. Dorothy then embarked on a tortuous journey of seeking medical treatment: seeing hundreds of doctors in Mainland China and Hong Kong, going through hardships to verify the cause, and finally she pulled it through. She finds plain happiness in music and thanks her parents for their constant support. Dorothy laments, ‘life is full of suffering, and trials make one grow.’
