Lesson learned from disability

Mila Guedes, a female Brazilian leader of the disabled suffering from progressive and incurable diseases. Having such a hard time, Mila chose to embrace her diseases instead of giving up on herself. Throughout her journey fighting against the diseases, she discovered that she is not the only one facing tons of inconveniences caused by disabilities. The disability community in her neighborhood was facing numerous challenges daily due to shortage of social supports and this galvanized Mila into action. She then kicked off her journey to fight for the well-being of the disability community in her city.
