Asylum seeker in Hong Kong  

Ali was a former politician and merchant, once living a luxury life in Pakistan. He was an activist who against militants in Pakistan. One day, he found that his name was on the death list of individuals targeted for assassination by his enemy. He instantly decided to flee to Hong Kong with his son. Nine years passed, Ali’s asylum application was approved and became mandated refugee, but he is still living in Hong Kong without identity. He cannot earn a living but has to rely on subsidy provided by the Social Welfare department. All he has is endless waiting.
